Annandale Cellars & Cremorne Cellars are proud to be the importer of Domaine Anne & Herve Sigaut vintage 2007.

Hervé tends the vineyards with a respectful eye.  He insists on minimal intervention, only treating the vineyard with pest control when absolutely necessary.

Much of the tillage is done with the use of a horse.

In the winery which was rebuilt in 2003/2004, a sorting table has been put in place to maximize the fruit quality that goes into the fermenters.

No mechanical pumping of the must.  Everything is handled by means of gravity flow & the wines are bottled without fining or filtration.

In an effort to have the wines speak of "terroir", the use of new oak is kept to less than 40%.

Tasting Notes:
A very Chambolle nose of high-toned, ripe and elegant red berry fruit is nuanced by subtle limestone hints that are picked up by the precise, pure and detailed barely middle weight flavors that possess good energy and punch but also a slight edginess on the understated finish. 86-88 Allen Meadows -
