Hiroyuki Kusuda
Born in Tokyo, Japan in 1964.
After graduating from university in Japan, worked for Fujitsu, then the Consulate General of Japan in Sydney. Studied Oenology and Viticulture at GeisenheimUniversity in Germany. Apprenticeships; Weingut Troitzsch, Rheingau, Germany (1996, 1997), Nicholson River, Victoria, Australia (1997), Domaine Lejeune, Bourgogne, France (1999). Immigrated to New Zealand (2001) soon after graduating from Geisenheim and now living in Martinborough with wife Reiko, son Kensuke and daughter Yuria.
